Fit Quiz is designed to be customizable in multiple ways, allowing it to match your brand's aesthetic and provide the best user experience. Here’s an in-depth look at the design customization options available in Fit Quiz.

User (shopper) experience with Fit Quiz consists of several components:

  • Call-to-action button – generally found on a product page near the size selector, it's typically phrased as “Not sure about the size?” or “Find your correct size.”

  • Auto-recommendation message – this message replaces the call-to-action button with “We recommend size XX,” informing the shopper about the recommended size

  • Fit Quiz widget – it asks shoppers all the necessary questions to recommend a size

Call-to-action button

The shopper's interaction with the Fit Quiz begins with the call-to-action button (also known as the "CTA button"), usually placed on a product page. The button opens the Fit Quiz widget, so i's crucial that the CTA button not only fits with your overall design but also stands out and attracts shoppers' attention.

You can edit and customize the following:

  • Button text – this can be edited for each language if your shop supports multiple languages

  • Colors

  • Icon – choose from default icons or upload your own

  • Fonts – use your default website font or upload a custom one

  • Button placement on the product page, including adjusting margins to other page attributes

  • Additional features like:

    • Underlining the text

    • Adding borders, including changing the border radius, line thickness, and border colors

    • Adding background colors

Shops on Shopify can edit the call-to-action button on their own and directly through the Fit Quiz Shopify app. Check out this article for more information.

Shops on other platforms can either customize the button through custom CSS settings or reach out to us – we will take care of this free of charge.

This customization feature is available across all our subscription plans: Starter, Pro, and Premium.

Auto-recommendation message

The auto-recommendation message appears on the product page, replacing the initial call-to-action (CTA) button. It informs the shopper about the recommended size, usually stating, "We recommend size XX."

This message appears in two instances:

  • Right after a recommendation is generated in the Fit Quiz widget

  • When a shopper checks other products and receives an automated size recommendation

The same attributes can be modified for auto-recommendations as for the CTA button, including text, icons, and colors.

Typically, the auto-recommendation message inherits some settings from the CTA button, such as placements or additional attributes (underlining, borders, etc.). If you want different settings for these two, you may need technical assistance or you can reach out to us.

Shops on Shopify can edit the auto-recommendation message on their own and directly through the Fit Quiz Shopify app. Check out this article for more information.

Shops on other platforms can either customize the message through custom CSS settings or reach out to us – we will take care of this free of charge.

Fit Quiz Widget

Fit Quiz widget pops-up once a shopper clicks the call-to-action button. Here shoppers are asked questions about their size and fit preferences and receive the recommendations.

Currently, only some of the widget customization options are available directly in the Fit Quiz Shopify app.

Implementation of any of the other widget customizations for all shops (including Shopify) needs to be done through our support team. Please reach out to us for assistance.

Several components of the widget can be customized, so let's explore them all.

Colors and Fonts

You can select a custom background color, active color (used for buttons inside the widget), and a custom font for all the widget's text. This option is available in Pro and Premium plans.

Custom Body Images

Depending on the product category and gender, different images are used. We currently have standard images for female and male bodies, as well as foot shape images.

If you want to use custom body images, please email us the images, and we will update them for you. This option is available in Pro and Premium plans.

FT or CM in the Height Question

Your shoppers may be more comfortable answering the "How tall are you?" question in cm or ft, depending on whether they use the imperial or metric system.

You can choose to use only one of these, or show both, highlighting either cm or ft. This option is available on all plans.

Shops on Shopify can make this adjustment in the Fit Quiz Shopify app on the "Customization" screen. Check this article for more details.

Text of the Questions and Answers

You can modify the phrasing and tone of voice of the questions and answers to better align with your overall communication style. This applies to all questions and answers in the Quiz. The same can be done for each language if you have multiple languages.

This option is available in Pro and Premium plans.

Custom Questions

If your products are designed in a very unique way, you may want to add an extra question or two to fully understand a shopper's preferences and adjust the recommendation accordingly.

This feature goes hand-in-hand with the recommendation algorithm, so any implementation must first be assessed by our tech team – we would need to evaluate how an extra question will impact the overall recommendation. This option is available in Premium plans.

In both examples, an extra question was added to Fit Quiz to better understand how exactly shoppers will be wearing an item and their additional fitting preferences. The recommendation is adjusted to reflect differences in fitting depending on a selected answer.

Multiple Size Formats

This refers to the first question in the quiz, where a shopper is asked about their most common size. If you work with international audiences, you might want to display multiple size scales, making it easier for shoppers to find their regular size. We support all common size scales and you can display up to 5 formats at once.

This option is available in Pro and Premium plans, and there is no limit on how many size scales you can display.

White-label design

You can remove the "Powered by Easysize" label at the bottom of the widget. This option is available in Premium plans.

Results Screen

You can modify the supporting text shown alongside the recommended size on the results screen. This option is available in Pro and Premium plans.

Additional Elements of the Widget

You can customize other elements of the widget, like size of the pop-up/frame, corners, borders, pagination, etc. This option is available in Premium plans.

Unisex Support

Fit Quiz uses slightly different user flows based on whether products are female, male, or unisex. When a product is identified as unisex, Fit Quiz introduces an additional screen as the first question in the widget. This screen asks about the shopper's gender preferences.

Basic Unisex support is available in Starter plans, and Advanced Unisex support – in Pro and Premium plans.

Recommendation of Length/Width/Fit

If your products have additional attributes like length, fit, width, Fit Quiz can also recommend them. This feature is available on Pro and Premium plans.

Multi-language support and Translations

Fit Quiz supports 16 languages, ensuring a user-friendly experience for international customers. All plans allows shops to add new languages, edit existing translations, and utilize automatic multi-language support.
